THE VILLAGE BAKING CO. was established in March 2004 by Clint and Kim Cooper. Clint is a graduate of Texas Tech University and San Francisco Baking Institue where Clint understudied baker, Jeff Yankyellow, winner of the 2005 Gold Metal Coup du Mond in Paris, France. After graduating, Clint returned with his San Francisco Sourdough to Dallas Fort Worth to begin his artisan bread baking career. He now distriubutes wholesale to restaurants and hotels in the Dallas Fort Worth area.
